Who can Vote

  • To vote for a French-language public school board you must meet both of the following requirements:
    • You must be a French-language rights holder
    • You or your spouse must be a French-language public school board supporter
  • Verify if you are on the voter’s list MyVote.

What if I am not on the Voter’s list?

  • If you are not on the voters’ list and are eligible to vote, you can add yourself when you go to vote in person on any of the voting days.

  • You can also you can add yourself by emailing VoterRegistration@toronto.ca by January 22

What forms of identification should I bring?

  • One piece of identification (ID) showing your name and qualifying Conseil scolaire Viamonde (Ward 3 – Centre) address is needed when you go to vote.
  • Examples:
            • Ontario issued photo card, driver’s licence or motor vehicle permit (vehicle portion).
            • Utility bill for hydro, telephone or cable TV, water, gas or a bill from a public utilities commission.
            • Cheque stub, T4 statement or pay receipt issued by an employer.
